Itinerary

General Info

If you are renting a car click here for directions from the airport to the Villa. If you need a ride, let us know and we'll pick you up at the airport.

Thursday Sept.9th - We arrive in Florence at 10:15pm. We'll spend the night because I doubt I'll want to drive after the long flight. Besides, the car leasing office closes at 7:00pm. We're staying at the Peterson Bed & Bed (they don't serve breakfast, hence the name).

Friday Sept.10th - Drive to Siena to make sure everything is ready for the Guest's arrival at the Villa Contrada.

Saturday Sept.11th - Guests begin arriving at the Villa

Tuesday Sept.14th - Tour of Siena/Chianti region. Lunch at the Ristorante Carloni and wine tasting at the Cappanelle winery in Chianti.

Wednesday Sept.15th - Cooking class at the Villa

Friday Sept.17th - Wedding is set for 4:00 pm in the Museo Civico (museum), adjacent to the Palazzo Pubblico.

The reception will be a celebratory dinner at Antica Osteria da Divo

Sept.18th - 25th - We've rented an apartment in Florence for the week.

Sept.25th - Oct.2nd - We've rented an apartment in Venice for the week.

Oct.2nd - 7th - Cinque Terre We will be staying in the town of Corniglia.

Oct.7th - 13th - Pisa, Amalfi Coast, San Vincenzo, Rome, Sorrento

Oct.13th - 16th - Island of Capri We will be staying at the Hotel Belvedere

October 16th- 23rd - La Casella Old County Estate

October 23rd- 26th - Back to Florence
